இந்தியா, 2026 ல் வெற்றிகரமாக சுய திட்டத்துடன், தனது சொந்த வலுவில், உலக அளவில் தனது அந்தஸ்தையும், கௌரவத்தையும் நிலை நாட்டிக் கொண்டிருக்கையில், தேசியம் என்று ஒரு காலத்தில் உருட்டிக் கொணடிக் கொண்டிருந்த காங் எனும் குடும்பக் கட்சி, செயலிழந்து, திட்டமிழந்து, தேசப் பார்வை இழந்து, குருட்டுப் பூனைபோல, அங்கும் இங்கும் தாவிக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறது. 

ஆத்திரம் கண்ணை மறைக்கிறது அவர்கட்கு! பாரதிய ஜனதா எதிர்ப்பு வேறு; சொந்த நாட்டையே எதிர்ப்பது வேறு என்பது கூட அந்த 'மாஜி தேசிய வாதிகளுக்கு" புரியவில்லை!

உண்மையில், குருட்டு பார்வை கொண்ட ஒரு கட்சிதான் பிரதான எதிர்க்கட்சி என்பது சோகம். தெளிவான பார்வையும், மாற்று அரசியலை எடுத்துச் செல்லும் தேசப் பற்றாளர்கள் இல்லாத கட்சியாக அது மாறியுள்ளது, நாட்டின் துரதிர்ஷடம்.

அவர்கள், BJP ஐ விட அதிக தேசப் பற்றுடன், நாட்டை இதைவிட வலுவான பொருளாதார, தேசப் பாதுகாப்பு திட்டங்களை முன்னெடுப்பதை விடுத்து, நாட்டிற்கு எதிரான கருத்துக்களையே உதிர்த்துக் கொண்டு இருப்பது அவலம். 

சமீபத்தில், அக்கட்சியயின் பிரசங்கி ஒருவர், 1971 ல் சோவியத் யூனியன் உடனான ஒப்பந்தத்தை , இந்தியாவின் ஒப்பந்தம் என்பதை மறந்து, காங்கிரஸ் ஒப்பந்தம் என வர்ணிக்கிறார்.

அவர்களால், 1971 ஐ தாண்டி வர இயலாது அளவிற்கு, தத்துவார்த்த திவால் ஆகிக் கிடக்கின்றனர்.‌ இது 2026 என்பதை யாராவது அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்ல வேண்டும். 

Soviet Russia helped India, and every Indian respects that history. But that help was not charity to the Congress party. It was a strategic partnership with the Indian State, built on Indian national interest. Congress did not bring Soviet steel plants from its party fund, India paid for them. To claim 1971 treaty as Congress's private property is laughable.

What Jairam Ramesh deliberately hides is the fact he knows about another 'big Congress family' enterprise, which also signed a secret MoU with the Chinese Communist Party in 2008, the contents of which is still refused to be made public. That is the real history of foreign ties - not national interest but that one big Congress family interest.

And what is this lecture on self-advertisement? A party that turned every government scheme into Indira, Rajiv, Jawahar yojana, that printed history textbooks as Nehru-Gandhi family album, is now teaching PM Modi about self-promotion?

PM Modi does not need to advertise himself. The world advertises him. When Putin meets Modi, it is not a meeting of two politicians. It is a meeting of two leaders who dominate their nations' politics for two decades because their people trust them. Russia needs India today as much as India needs Russia - for oil, for defence, for a multipolar world. That respect was not built by tweets of Jairam Ramesh, but by 11 years of strong, non-apologetic foreign policy.

Congress ruled for 60 years and made India a Soviet client that had to plead for spare parts. Modi made India a power that buys Russian oil despite Western sanctions and says clearly - my energy policy is for my people.

Stop living in Soviet nostalgia. The world respects New India, not old Congress.
